Starter adds your own logo and brand colours on the recipient portal, CSV import and bulk send, an unlimited document library, and single sign-on (OIDC — Microsoft Entra, Google). Growth adds per-employee scaling, JML automation over the API, video content blocks, and the SMS bundle; Enterprise adds WhatsApp, QR campaign mode, ID-verification upload at signing, a dedicated tenant with multi-brand sub-tenants, and procurement support. SMS and WhatsApp delivery is coming soon — those channels are not sending yet.
Pricing questions
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes — Free is free forever for up to 20 employees, with no credit card and no time limit.
What happens when I outgrow my plan?
Nothing is deleted and nothing already running stops. The limit is checked when you add someone: at your 21st person on Free (or 101st on Starter) we ask you to upgrade first. Documents, history, and the audit log carry over unchanged.
How does Starter pricing work?
Starter is a flat $99/month for any team up to 100 employees when billed annually, or $119/month billed monthly. No per-seat math, no surprise bills. You add and remove people without ever changing your invoice.
How does Growth pricing work?
Growth is $1.50 per active employee per month, or $1.20/employee/month billed annually, with a 100-employee minimum — a $150/month minimum ($120/month on annual). Inactive leavers stop billing the next cycle.
What's included for email, SMS, and WhatsApp?
Free includes 500 emails/month; Starter 2,000 emails/month; Growth 25,000 emails and 5,000 SMS a month for the whole workspace — a flat allowance, not a per-employee one; Enterprise email is unmetered, and its SMS and WhatsApp volumes are set in your contract. SMS and WhatsApp delivery is still being integrated and is not sending yet — the allowances are what those channels will include when they go live. Beyond your included allowance sending pauses rather than running up a surprise bill — top up instantly with an email, SMS, or WhatsApp capacity add-on and your limit lifts immediately.
Can I switch plans?
Yes — upgrade any time with features unlocking immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the billing cycle.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
No — paid plans have no trial. The Free plan is free forever for up to 20 employees, with no card and no time limit, and it is the way to try the product. Every paid plan is charged at checkout, from day one: Starter for the plan you picked ($119 for the month, or $1,188 for the year on annual billing), and Growth — once you enter your employee count — for at least the 100-employee minimum ($150 for the month, or $1,440 for the year on annual billing). Cancel anytime, no lock-in. Every paid plan carries a 14-day money-back guarantee: cancel within 14 days of your first charge and that charge is refunded in full. Free has nothing to refund.
How long do you keep our records, and what expires?
Retention is a workspace setting and it is the same on every plan: 7 years by default, configurable from 1 to 30 years. When the window passes, event-log and delivery records are deleted and leavers' personal details are anonymised — signed PDFs and acknowledgement records are kept. An active legal hold suspends expiry until it is lifted.
Can I get a custom quote?
Of course. Growth covers up to 2,000 employees; above that — or at any headcount that comes with procurement, security-review, or multi-year requirements — we'll prepare a tailored proposal covering volume pricing, contract term, and add-ons.
How do I pay, and in what currency?
Paid plans are charged by card through Stripe, and you can download every invoice from Settings → Billing. All prices are in USD and exclude VAT or sales tax — we don't currently bill in EUR or GBP. Enterprise payment terms are set in your contract.
How do I cancel, and do you refund?
Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Every paid plan carries a 14-day money-back guarantee: cancel within 14 days of your first charge and that charge is refunded in full. Free has nothing to refund. Beyond that, cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for and your workspace keeps working until then; otherwise subscriptions renew automatically for another term of the same length. Later fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise — so an annual plan cancelled in month three runs to the end of the year rather than being refunded. After your paid access ends you have 30 days to export your documents, signed PDFs, and audit log before the data may be permanently deleted. The binding version of all of this is in our Terms of Service (readsignflow.com/terms).
